What are the online prep courses?

The Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations is sponsoring two on line prep courses to assist candidates who are preparing to write the National Knowledge Exam™ (NKE) and National  Professional Practice Assessment™ (NPPA).

Our Updated CCHRA National Knowledge Exam Prep Course

The recently revised Required Professional Competencies are in effect for the October 2008 National Knowledge Examination. The diagnostic test and the three practice exams in the CCHRA NKE Prep Course have been revised to reflect the updated RPC's. Modeled after the critical incident structure of the NPPA exam this course provides the participant with the opportunity to practice over 100 Critical Incidents similar to those on the exam.  It involves three parts:

• PART 1:  20 critical incidents with accompanying multi-media tutorials designed to enhance your knowledge and assess your judgment when answering NPPA exam questions.
• PART 2:  45 critical incidents presented in the format of a sample exam, with detailed explanations for the correct answers.
• PART 3:  A discussion forum moderated by the former Chairperson of the National Committee responsible for creating NPPA exam questions, where over 35 additional critical incidents are posted by the moderator and participants for discussion.
• A moderated discussion board allows you to collaborate and form study groups with fellow prep course participants, ask the moderator questions on relevant issues, and seek assistance.
