 UCDA Automotive Certification Course

The UCDA’s certification program enables new and existing sales professionals the opportunity to succeed in the Retail Automobile Industry by completing the first internet based automotive certification program in Canada.

Internet distance learning is an exciting and effective education method that provides an array of advantages and values to the participants.

You can do it from anywhere ... at any time ... and at your own pace.

It was developed because we know how precious time is to our members and, for many, it would be impossible to devote two full days to an in-class sales training course.

The course uses the same texts as the in-class course and is therefore designed to provide those same values. They contain the most up to date information regarding the rules and regulations governing the retail automobile industry and include a selling skills manual that focuses on the fundamentals of the sales process.

The UCDA Certification Course Content:

  • Over 200 presentation slides with 4 hours of audio by a professional narrator
     

  • Three course manuals containing the most current information covering the regulations governing the Ontario retail automobile industry.

    • Review of contracts, appraisal and trade-in process, vehicle branding, all relevant legislation, commonly used documents and more
       

  • A Selling Skills manual outlining a proven sales process:

    • Greeting customers, customer profile & qualification, showing the car, closing the deal, follow-up and prospecting
       

  • UCDA’s course content enables the participant to complete the mandatory certification course required by OMVIC. (Ontario only.)
     

  • UCDA’s Certificate of Achievement is awarded to registrants who successfully pass the course examination.
     

  • The UCDA has been providing correspondence education training since 1997 and inclass training since 2000 in key locations across Ontario.
